ISEE Testing

Applicants must take the Independent School Entrance Examination (ISEE) to be admitted to The Chicago Academy for the Arts. Applicants may register online at www.iseetest.org. To register for the exam, families must submit the registration form and fee to the Educational Records Bureau three weeks* prior to the test date.

For dates that the test will be administered at The Chicago Academy for the Arts, please refer to the list below. If you are unable to take the test on one of these dates, the test will also be administered at independent schools across the Chicago area throughout the year. The exact dates and test sites can be found online at www.iseetest.org. If your student plans to take the test at a site other than the Arts Academy, please have his or her scores forwarded to the Admissions Office.

As no admissions decision can be made before the Arts Academy receives the applicants test scores, students are encouraged to take the exam prior to auditioning.
