The Theatre Department Directing Class will present a night of student-directed scenes culled from plays in the contemporary theatre canon. The evening will exhibit the results of students’ experience in all aspects of helming a show, beginning with the formation of a clear directorial lens through dramaturgical analysis of their chosen texts, then through the casting and rehearsal processes, and finally in production and performance. Actors in the showcase are members of the Theatre Department. Performances are at 4:45 and 7 PM on Friday, April 21. Admission is free.
