National Testing Day

On Wednesday, October 19th we will be administering standardized tests at The Academy. The freshman class will take the ASPIRE (a practice test for the ACT) and the sophomore and junior classes will be taking the PSAT (a practice test for the SAT).

All students will need their calculators for the math portion, so check to make sure that they are packed up on Tuesday night. While a little bit of anxiety is productive, there is really no need to stress over these tests. If your student seems anxious, please reassure your child that this is an opportunity for practice only; that the test has no impact on progress or placement at The Academy; and test scores are not shared with any outside agencies.

The best way to prepare for these tests is to get a good night's sleep and eat a well-balanced breakfast in the morning!

Seniors Have a (Very) Late Arrival on Wednesday
