Join other Chicago-area arts & culture leaders for a special preview of ELEVATE: Chicago’s Artists Start Here, The Academy’s all school showcase of music, theatre, dance, visual arts, musical theatre, and media arts!
This exclusive arts & culture leaders preview will provide a “first look” at ELEVATE and be an opportunity to mix with colleagues and peers.
ELEVATE is not just a show - it’s a celebration of creativity, courage, and community.
ELEVATE: Chicago’s Artists Start Here, Arts & Culture Leaders Preview will take place on April 15 beginning at 4:00 p.m. at the Studebaker Theater located at 410 South Michigan Avenue, the Fine Arts Building.

The Chicago Academy for the Arts brings its best and brightest students to the stage at the historic Studebaker Theater for one night of unforgettable moments, bold creativity, and next-level talent.
ELEVATE is not just a show - it’s a celebration of creativity, courage, and community.
ELEVATE: Chicago’s Artists Start Here will take place on April 17 beginning at 7:00 p.m. at the Studebaker Theater located at 410 South Michigan Avenue, the Fine Arts Building.

Inside The Academy: Audition & Portfolio Prep Webinar
Thinking about applying to The Chicago Academy for the Arts? Join us for a virtual evening with our Arts Department Chairs to learn everything you need to know about the audition and portfolio review process.
You'll hear from the Arts Chairs who lead our Theatre, Musical Theatre, Visual Arts, Media Arts, Music, and Dance programs. They'll share what makes each program unique, what they're looking for in applicants, and their best advice for showcasing your potential.

Chicago Academy for the Arts, Parent Gathering at Heritage Bikes & Coffee
Join Academy parent Lindsey Stinnett for a relaxed morning of coffee and conversation at Heritage Bikes & Coffee. Learn more about student and family life at The Academy, and connect with other prospective families in an informal setting.
Amanda LePard and Sophia Oliver from the Academy Admissions team will be on hand to answer questions about the admissions process and share more about The Academy experience.

Black Culture, Presented by BSU
The Academy's Black Student Union (BSU) will present Black Culture on February 26 & 27, at 7:00 p.m. both evenings. Tickets are on-sale now!
The BSU is also excited to launch this year's BSU & Maywood Fine Arts Center Student Scholarship. Funds generated through both ticket sales and fundraising will benefit students from the Maywood Fine Arts Center who currently attend or who have been accepted to The Academy.
