Who's Influencing Whom? A Creative Continuum Between Teachers and Students

While teachers guide the creative development of their students, they are continually inspired by their own artistic inquiry and by the curiosity and perspectives of the young artists they teach. Teaching and learning become an ongoing exchange in which creativity is shaped through dialogue, shared discovery, and mutual influence.

This exhibition presents projects rooted in teachers' own work, revealing how their studio practices shape the questions they ask, the materials they choose, and the opportunities they design for students to observe, experiment, reflect, and take creative risks.

Featuring work by art educators and students from the Lake Michigan Association of Independent Schools (LMAIS).
