The Student Leadership Conference & General Assembly took place from March 7 to 10, with 15 Youth and Government students representing The Academy in Springfield.

The students engaged in the legislative process, arriving on Friday morning to take part in the youth election of public officers. Over the weekend, around 1,000 student legislators, lobbyists, and legislative assistants convened at the Springfield capitol building, diligently working towards passing the bills they had been crafting throughout the year.
